I am a member of the Google Brain team working on machine learning and deep learning with applications to healthcare.

I completed my Ph.D. in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Princeton Neuroscience Institute at Princeton University in June 2017, working with Prof. Peter Ramadge and Prof. Uri Hasson. My dissertation is at the intersection of machine learning and computational neuroscience. I focused on developing multi-view representation learning models for human brain data with a hope to learn more about how the brain works. Besides, I have also worked on several theoretical or applied machine learning projects in various domains at Princeton, Amazon, Palantir, Intel Labs and Vatic Labs.

Before Princeton, I received my BS in Electrical Engineering (valedictorian) from National Taiwan University.

I was a recipient of the Google PhD Fellowship .
